It's the beginning of the New Year and the time for making plans and changes. So here's an idea for you to ponder as you look for a highlight for your choir's year. I recently attended a very interesting Festival of Music and Liturgy in Cambridge, England. The imaginative organisers decided to have a featured composer as the focus for the Festival, and that's how I came to be invited.
