I have decided this month to give you an entirely personal account of my own spiritual journey after many years of working for the Catholic Church. I've been much concerned by the recent clerical scandals - having suffered much at the hands of clergy myself. These experiences have made me rethink my belief. But of one thing I am now certain: you cannot be an effective church organist without belief and you must firmly believe in what you're doing.
