I was accompanying a primary school choir recently when the Head Teacher approached me and asked if I remembered bringing the Irish National Chamber Choir to take part in my children's opera The Torc of Gold in the mid-1990s. Her remark brought back very happy memories of one of the best musical projects I have ever undertaken.
